The glass optical assembly is placed at a slight angle of about 10o to facilitate self-cleaning or simplify the lens cleaning process. Hadco assures quality and longevity by providing even the nuts, bolts and fasteners in stainless steel to prevent rusting or corrosion when placed outdoors. The housing is constructed of double gasketed, die cast marine-grade alloy aluminum for long life. With vibration-proof serrated teeth along with the base of the housing, it provides a positive lock.
